I am guessing he convinced jimbo to take his bro. Noles didn't want him from I understand.

Abuse? So not winning national titles is abuse? I grew up a Tampa Bay Bucs fans. Now thats abuse, losing 10 or more games a year for 11 straight years. I mean we're 8-4 this season. I agree no Canes fan settles for anything less than a title but being mediocre to good last 12 years is far from abuse.

The Buccs have a more recent National Championship then the U.

Abuse? So not winning national titles is abuse? I grew up a Tampa Bay Bucs fans. Now thats abuse, losing 10 or more games a year for 11 straight years. I mean we're 8-4 this season. I agree no Canes fan settles for anything less than a title but being mediocre to good last 12 years is far from abuse.

The Buccs have a more recent National Championship then the U.

ND has not won since the 80s yet nobody talks about that. Oklahoma since the 90s. Nebraska before Oklahoma and many others. We could have it wày worse
 
Bruce isn't going to UF. He had supposedly told the coaches he was coming months back and they've been expecting a flip for some time...hasn't happened yet. He was on campus again for the FSU game and insiders claim the coaches tried to secure a commitment again and nothing came of it. Few weeks back we turned our attention to some other receivers and we just took a juco kid to play receiver and are about to take the commitment from Keith Gavin who is Frank's teammate. I think both sides have moved on.

So what exactly about McEltoofs offense would excite anyone let alone a 16-17yr old kid? Ol Horsemouf better just recruit off of Muschump's D while he can. There's a reason they're 17 pt dogs to Bama.

Oklahoma won the ship in 2000.

That's the year that we were robbed of the opportunity to play for it.

Would've been our 6th ship and then 2002 our 7th was stolen.

He'll sell the same thing all new coaches sell, hope. The offense was much improved until Grier got suspended, we were top 55 in offense. Not great, but much improved from the 106th offense we had a year ago. Grier is no superstar by any means, but we had a passing game that was coming around.

I struggle to think of many, if any coaches who was going to take what was left of this offense and make them really good in one season. Our o-line currently consist of a true sophomore, a true freshman, a true freshman, senior with 6 career starts headed into the season, and an FCS transfer. And those guys have been in and out of the lineup. Over the last 5 weeks, we've had 5 different starting combinations on the o-line. He inherited two scholarship running backs in the spring and one of them (Lane) transferred. So with the addition of Scarlett and Cronkrite we now have 3 scholarship backs with two of them being true freshmen. Also only had 2 scholarship QB's in the spring, Grier and Harris. The third string guy who they brought in as an emergency from Vandy was so bad he got switched to WR at Vandy, he was 3rd string there I believe. The talent on offense sucked. It isn't a coincidence that our best player on offense is a true freshman (Calloway).

Calloway is legit....He's the kid i was really ****ed you guys got.
Powell is ok....

Offense has a chance, the problem is as the other team in conference now have film...Need to see the jump in the spring....Neither Grier or Treon really really impressed me like say Brad kayaa does....

OL may come around you guys are recruiting that spot better.
 
UF's scholarship QB situation for next year is:

1. Grier (suspended first 6 games of the year)
2. Harris

And unfortunately, Harris has regressed tremendously and is barely functional at this point. Both Franks and Eason are EE's. So the moment they step on campus they have a very good chance to win the job. At a minimum, they're second string in the spring. I don't think you have to do much selling to get top QB's to give that situation a look. If they perform well to start the season, they basically have the job the rest of the year and possibly until they leave.
 
The fact that UF may get 2 of the best qbs is mind boggling. That offense has showed absolutely nothing and they look as bad as the Muschamp teams. Amazing

I think McTeef has a good enough track record to convince a kid better days are ahead.

These 5-star kids want to play now and UF certainly has that to offer.

Eason is a stretch; IMO he sticks with UGA. His parents are meeting him in Athens after the UF visit.
