Don't think he is saying Bell isn't good or serviceable, more so that Seaton is a definitive upgrade. Mario probably had no clue he would be available, nor anyone else because until Deion made these comments about a meeting with his health team (lol) no reason to think he would have been.

Becuase tackles of his ability rarely hit the portal and upgrading from above average to good/great would be a luxury with the amount of holes the roster had.

Miami had a certain amount of money to spend +the cost of what Bell currently makes + adding in one of the 3 top portal OT's just isn't worth it finaincially when you have to flip a whole secondary unit and add players to other positions.

He wont come here for a number of reasons but it's not because Bell would keep him on the bench.
