Please learn reading comprehension. The Rose Bowl is a BCS bowl game. The guy you quoted didn't say anything about the BCS title game. So his post was correct.

If Chip is a bad fit for Miami, it will be because he chooses not to "fit" here. He is an elite college coach and will do great wherever he goes including Miami. Like I said it many times, I believe if you are a great coach you can fit everywhere. If he would rather not deal with HS coaches here and their politics, then its his choice to do so. With Kelly, if you don't buy in, you're gone. Race is irrelevant as it relates to his decision making process and by nature it would have to be. Making any assertion to the contrary would be devoii of logic or reason. To some, this mentality will sound disturbingly similar to what we witnessed with Al Golden. The critical difference being that Kelly's way wins college football games while Golden's way loses them.

I can see where OP is coming from.... BUT, I can't help but see a Chip Kelly hire as anything but homerun for us given the state of the program and other candidate names being mentioned.

Now if you said the BOT narrowed it down to Chip Kelly, Gary Patterson, Mike Gundy, Mark D'Antonio, Art Briles, Butch Davis, & Les Miles... then we could talk. But as it stands Chhip kelly is the most successful name we've heard mentioned so far.
