Who says we lose two conference games? We could lose one and still be out. Who knows, maybe we lose to UF and FSU. I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it:

CFB is different now. We aren’t trying to win the Coastal anymore, and all schedules are NOT created equal.

Our schedule is hard this year, compared to teams like GT or Cal. Those two teams could realistically run the table. I mean, go look at who they play. It’s a joke.

You drop one game to FSU and suddenly you’re in a dog fight to get to championship game. It’s really that simple. And for all the people saying GT and Cal won’t run the table, people said the same about SMU last year. And look what happened.

The placement of our byes are horrendous. We play 7 games in a row to end the season. Almost no one has a similar gauntlet. In today’s day in age, no one goes undefeated anymore. Too much parity in CFB. Having an insurance policy — aka a good resume — is a safeguard against SEC and Big 10 bias. To pretend otherwise is unfortunate.

Of course I do. Even the most casual college football fans realize that resume is an enormous part of the final rankings. You're dismissing that fact, so I have no option to believe anything else.

If we are being serious then yes of course it matters. That’s not debatable.

Being concerned about it after 3 games? Useless if you’ve watched college football for even 2 seasons.

Saying we need Notre Dame to be ranked after they go 0-2 is pointless.

It’s the same board that preaches how we can’t look ahead, gotta stay focused blah blah blah. We’ve got two huge games ahead of us so I see no point in worrying about what Notre Dame is ranked after they play two games.

We got left out last year because we were a flawed team that couldn’t get it done. This team looks different to me but we will see. Long way to go.

Notre Dame, in particular, isn't meaningless simply because that could be the last ranked team they play. If Notre Dame is our marquee win, we wanted Notre Dame to have their own great resume. That's why it mattered in week 3.

Yeah last year was last year so no need to rehash it honestly

I was sort of just joking because I hate Notre Dame and can’t root for them to win. I just talk **** sometimes because it’s dudes talking football so no offense meant. You always make good posts

We get through this stretch and we can kinda reevaluate

Hopefully we don’t leave it in anyone else’s hands other than our own. We can’t rely on the ACC that’s for sure
