4/5/24 Game 30: Duke 15-14 L

After reviewing Duke's statistics for their season and their ACC games only, there is a significant difference.
They are 6-6 like us in conference.
The LHP throwing tonight is very good.
We are playing at their on campus facility, not the Durham Bulls field.

Costello and Perez start. Villegas back to the top.

Remember my motto with this team…win ugly. Tonight’s that type of game to the max. We are prob going to strike out a lot. But he will walk guys…so if we scratch out a hit and a walk we better get 1-2 out of it. Maybe get one up in the air and if Carries.

If you are going to watch tonight just save your energy if we look like crap the first few innings. (Unless Ziehl has a bad start) Keep it close til the 6/7th and see if we can get some away magic.

We are at the point in the season where good teams start to put it together in all 3 phases. Bad teams start to have the wheels fall off.

Down in order as the streak rolls on (Cyr and Cuvet made decent contact)

At least those two hit it hard. What's w Villegas - didn't take the bat off his shoulder?

My only reason for optimism this weekend is we have to score some runs at some point right. You can't do much worse than 5 runs total in an entire series.
