30000+ fans at the Syracuse basketball game. Just saying.

How does 30000 look at SunLife?

UM has the worst fan participation in Div 1 college football.

Just a side note: attendance last night at the Bank United Center, on campus, was 5031. I don't know how many it holds but that doesn't seem to be a big following for a #23 ranked team at home. What's the point of all our whining on deaf ears?
Oh yea, does a 70 to 50 loss at home signify a team quitting on the coach?
Sports! Not as simple as it seems.

30,000+ is normal at Syracuse bball games. Crazy idea that fans will show up consistently in support when the team itself is consistently good.

Going to see a 6-7 canes is basically like handing money to someone on a subway you know for a fact is going to use it to buy crack .

There's better things to do in miami on a saturday ...theres competition ... people rather go to the mall , south beach ...brickell for drinks ...coral gables for dinner ....watching the game at home or at the ale house is probably a better and cheaper alternative .

people will have no problem supporting the team once the administration starts to show competence.

Not quite to the extent of a pure college town but a noticeable increase for sure .

The irony of this being that Syracuse does a better job filling it's football stadium with basketball games, of course.

With all of the exciting things to do in Syracuse in the winter, how could they possibly turn out that many fans for an indoor event?

Lemme see, no NBA team, no NFL team, no NHL team, no MLB team, no sunny beaches.... wait...I think I know why.
