Attrition is a real b.... -- that is why good leaders don't have much of it. Al has tons of it except where he should.

THIS.

The guys we need either always find a way to ask for a release, get kicked off, or suspended. Meanwhile O'Donnell, King, Moore, J.Hamilton, Crow, Wells, and Knighton still eat up scholarships.

Thanks to the OP. Crystallizes how talented this team is, still after the losses to the 15 team. I'll say that Saban, Dumbo, and Myles would kill for the talent we will be fielding this Fall. They'd win 10-11 games easily. Golden will be fortunate to win 7....

Golden is out of excuses. Yes he will make them but who will listen at this point? We've heard it all.

Al's gonna ride this "too young" excuse all season long.

What was the quote from Golden about how unfair it was to Donofrio that he had to coach a defense that was so young, and how he was "mad as heck"?

"To be honest with you, Mark should be as mad as anybody because imagine coming to the University of Miami and having to play a bunch of kids," said Golden, a lifelong friend of D'Onofrio. "Imagine being saddled with that. He's the one who should be mad. And he is mad and he's going to fight."

This Grolden ***** could teach Butch the finer points of lying. I mean that, IF Butch lied, at least he was gone, and we were spared a liar. On the other hand, Grolden is a master liar, and we're still stuck with his bullschitt.

Life is unfair.

SMLlol. That quote is maddening.

"We're still building"

According to Al until this team can redshirt the majority of the incoming class we are "building." Well with the exception of CB not 1 freshmen should be able to walk onto campus and get a spot in the 2 deep without taking it from someone. So the majority of the 2015 class should redshirt.

2015 Position breakdown
QB 3 returning (2 with on the field playing experience)
HB 3 returning (All 3 have on the field playing experience)
FB 1 returning (has playing experience)
WR 8 returning (7 with on the field playing experience)
TE 4 returning (2 with on the field playing experience)
OT 4 returning (All 4 have on the field playing experience)
OG 4 returning (3 with on the field experience)
OC 3 returning (2 with on the field playing experience)

DE 6 returning (5 with on the field playing experience)
DT 6 returning (All 6 have on the field playing experience)
OLB 5 returning (3 with on the field playing experience)
MLB 3 returning (2 with on the field playing experience)
CB 4 returning (3 with on the field playing experience)
S 4 returning (All 4 have on the field playing experience)

Not that the guy can coach but you know the OP is referencing the 2015 2-deep age level and the quote from Golden was from 2012... When the team was in fact very young. He should not have said that but it was not a lie.

There's plenty of experience on this team, even if most of them just got here:

NO EXCUSES GOLDEN YOU P.O.S

There are only 12 seniors and 18 junior on this roster making this team very "young" on paper. Of those 30 upperclassmen I see 25 making the 2 deep. That means only 19 of the 44 in the 2 deep will be "underclassmen" (with AQM & Sunny being RSO's making them JR's in the classroom).

If this team craps the bed again this year, the lack of SR's on offense will be an excuse that we hear all season long. So if the excuses do start to roll in just remember 32 of the top 44 have been out of high school for at least 3 years.

3 Offensive Seniors
  1. WR Rashawn Scott (Will start)
  2. WR Herb Waters (Will be in 2 deep)
  3. OG Hunter Wells (Will be in 2 deep)

9 Defensive Seniors
  1. DT Calvin Heurtelou (Will start)
  2. DT Michael Wyche (Will be in 2 deep)
  3. DT Corey King (Should never see the field)
  4. DE Ufomba Kamalu (Should start)
  5. OLB Tyriq McCord (Should start)
  6. MLB Raphael Kirby (Will start)
  7. CB Tracy Howard (Should start)
  8. S Deon Bush (Will start)
  9. S Dallas Crawford (Will be in 2 deep)

11 Offensive Junior
  1. QB Gray Crow (Should never see the field)
  2. RB Gus Edwards (Will be in 2 deep)
  3. FB Walter Tucker (Will start)
  4. WR Stacy Coley (Will start)
  5. WR Malcolm Lewis (Will be in 2 deep)
  6. WR D'Mauri Jones (Should provide emergency depth)
  7. TE Standish Dobard (Will start)
  8. TE Jake O'Donnell (Should never see the field)
  9. OT Taylor Gadbois (Should start)
  10. OG Alex Gall (Should start)
  11. OG Danny Isidora (Will start)

7 Defensive Junior
  1. DT Earl Moore (Should provide emergency depth)
  2. DE Jelani Hamilton (Should provide emergency depth)
  3. OLB Jermaine Grace (Will start)
  4. CB Artie Burns (Will start)
  5. CB Corn Elder (Will be in 2 deep)
  6. S Jamal Carter (Will be in 2 deep)
  7. S Rayshawn Jenkins (Should start)

*Hopefully this large number of SR's JR's on the defensive side of the ball will finally be the difference and make this a 10 win team*
Sell that **** to Ohio State, who won the championship in a playoff system (2 games instead of 1) with a true freshman quarterback with 3 games of collegiate experience and a much younger team than we were last or this year.

No program in the country has had as much altrition as UM has over the last 4 years. Folden is either recruiting the wrong guys with poor character or he's managing to turn off good guys to the point where they feel they have to bail.

Or both!
