They have talent, but they have depth issues. And they already have a lot of injuries (mostly lower leg and foot, for some reason?).

Defense is stronger than offense, particularly LB / DL.

Saw -3 on twitter but 6.5 or higher elsewhere.

Just need the win. This is the most important game of the season imho. We win this, it doesn't matter if we lose to FSU. We will win out the ACC and that puts us in the playoff.

Some teams just have other teams' numbers. We have USF's. GT has ours. Don't really know why. But I think we may have UF's. They arguably looked worse against us than any team last year. They were a much better team than us at the Rock a few years ago, and we should've won that one.
 
Hopefully Mario and the boyz put Billy into the “for hire” line, like Dabo did to Golden.

I suspect it’ll be closer than many think, but I would love to put a beatdown on them.

Offense is average due to bad online, defense is legit. Banks has been out and got hurt again. Big loss for them.
 
I don't see UF's OL holding up against Heatherman's front 7 either in the run game or the passing game, which means Lagway will find his rotund self scrambling and throwing up prayers. If Napier is smart, his opening script is a combination of bubble screens like ND did - mostly to get the ball in Brown's hands.

I don't see UF's DL (basically the same unit as last year minus the white dude) stopping our run game. For UF to stop our run, they'll need to load the box and leave their DBs isolated on our WRs - good luck locking down Daniels, Toney, Moore and Marion consistently. One of those guys will win their 1-on-1 match up.

The score will be closer than the game on the field due to UF slowing tempo to shorten the game.

Miami wins by 17
 
Nationally, it's important that we beat the Gator soundly and then go dominate the Noles in their house on National TV.

Remember. the Pollsters are looking for ANY excuse to drop us out of the Top 10 and force the Canes to beg for an At-Large Bid.

No they aren’t. We got dropped last year because our defense ******* sucked and was somehow getting worse as the season went along

If anything the ratings people have been begging for us to be in the mix and give them any reason to include us because we draw viewers

After seeing how we have been officiated for ND & USF I now fully expect UF to all of a sudden “clean up” their penalties.
Those (rightful) calls are all of a sudden gonna disappear when the gators play us unfortunately.
