Takaylen Muex, a three-star offensive line prospect out of Jacksonville, FL, has decommitted from Miami.

The 6-5, 315-pound Meux will reopen his recruitment amid interest from UCF and others. He previously committed to the Hurricanes on May 16, choosing UM over offers from UCF, Louisville, Troy, Charlotte and among others.

Hopefully staff (Mario) sees a need to improve the talent on the OL. I think we have enough 6'6 300lbers that can't contribute.

I’m definitely satisfied with this drop.

Miami is not built on Johnny try hards, need the best talent to compete for national titles. Starters need to be pushed
