3 Concerns

There were 3 main concerns we had as fans and for now I think all were alleviated (for now)

1. Run defense. DT was a concern and we had that one bad play but every time Johnson got the ball he was SWARMED. The score helped but they couldn’t run it on us.

2. Secondary. Not much that needs said. We will see when we play more arm talented QBs but our discipline was extremely impressive to me. Florida tried to get us to bite on a lot of misdirection and eye candy stuff early and we didn’t fall for it. Brown gave up a decent gain but that was just a perfect throw. Jackson and Guidry were busy this summer and it shows.

3. Left guard. A great QB can mask an OL but we didn’t need him to. Rodriguez and McCoy (from what I saw without rewatching) were good. OL is gonna be a strength yet again.

Looking forward to this rewatch to get into the finer details of things. I have a difficult time with the interior of the lines other than splash type plays but this should be fun

Number 2 is the one that shocked me. I said all week they’d try to come out throwing and steal a quick easy td. They tried is multiple times on pump and go’s or eye manipulation. Every time we passed the test. I haven’t seen that in so long. Everyone stayed home minus the bust on the long run by Johnson. That was more getting out of lanes.

I’m slightly more concerned about DT than DBs. Hoping Clark steps up at DT.

Talk see the size of 42 on the sideline?? Lol
I only noticed Clark once and it was a really really bad play. Had to look up the **** roster at the time 😂

I’m looking forward to keying on Barrow and Campbell. Not noticing those guys can be a good thing and I saw a couple of people commenting about Moten and how good he was

I think by that time I was so up in the clouds I wasn’t noticing a **** thing

Was texting with Inday and we were both like bro it’s drive #2 and they’ve thrown everything they got at us and they got nothing…

Especially in a hostile emotional environment you could excuse our guys for making mistakes

My minor concern is, Florida really isn't that good and they actually may not win 4 games this year. That said, looking at the schedule will Miami not be the most talented team on the field in all the games?
Louisville? I guess perhaps FSU?
I don't see how the sky is not the limit with the team minus a major implosion.

Valid. I also think Billy is about the ****tiest game day coach you can find

What I think is key is man just like Cam was saying…we didn’t force any issues. This team, especially the offense, seems like it has a lot more in the tank. I think we basically beat them down with a couple of pages from our playbook

Might have been the 6 Weller on the rocks but I wasn't noticing anything by the end. Just slurring inaudible play disection and smiling the whole time.

On Johnson big run, the alignment had me concerns, end was inside shade of the TE and the LB was stacked atop and safety was 10 yards off stacked too. Unless the had a wrong arm end with spill technique over the LB on that play, still didn't make tonnes of sense.
That and Harris taking the wrong lane.

Busts happen and they happen to call a great play on an improper alignment, puller etc.

Well Barrow caused the int. late in the game. :)

Not worried about run D at all but Wes + Harris took awful angles on Montrell TD. The secondary is still TBD but safeties played sound and disciplined. As long as Cam & o line stay healthy this team is going far.

Yes, the formation wasn’t the best either but mix that with breakdowns you get a 70 yard touchdown
