Mario projects his pressing onto his players sometimes. Feels that way at least. I’m all for ball security but you can’t play to not lose. Might just be Beck sucked but seemed like he was playing overly cautious. Have fun.
 
Mesidor has been good every time he's been healthy. This year he's been elite. His age shouldn't be a negative factor in his evaluation process.

Bain is having the exact type of year he needed to remove all doubt in scouts/gms minds that he should be a top of the 1st rnd type of player.

Not only eliminating the constant stunts, but I do want to point something out. Bain and Mesidor played lights out and have an all around game.

But I want to take a moment and point out how much Heatherman is helping them. He is running a lot of single mug, double mug, and overloading one side on certain downs.

Heatherman is putting the oline in **** before the snap and giving Bain and Mesidor a nice *** split second advantage on the tackles. Not to mention, Heatherman has some creative blitzes, last year we didn't blitz at all, I guess bc we didn't trust our DBs.

But disguising the pressure, and bringing extra guys, actually gives the DEs opportunities to do work. With that said, the DEs are also dominating physically.

Its a massive positive trait for our team. Credit to Mario for recruiting dogs at DE too, he knows how important the position is.

And on a separate note, Lightfoot dropping into coverage and making a huge 4th down stop lol. Perfectly called. Youre a genius if it works, and an idiot if it doesnt. Heatherman has been genius compared to the prior idiot.

Same, I had to stop watching when the team
Went to defense. I just couldn’t believe how they could see that talent everyday in practice and then run stunts all game 🤦🏾‍♂️

Don’t let this one game fool you, this is a national championship offense. When you can run at will and dominate the line of scrimmage even when the passing game isn’t working, that speaks volumes. We have seen Michigan in 23, Georgia in 22, and every bama team (before Sark and Lane, joined the staff) have all won with a dominate offensive line, strong running game and a decent passing game.

The difference is every team is not going to stop this passing game. This is a National Championship team, and there isn’t a team
In America outside of Oregon who is playing better team Football than Miami.

Herbstreit said it no less than 5 times last night on the broadcast. Bain is unblockable and is making himself sooo much $ with every additional game on film.

That defense was soo **** fun to watch last night

I said the exact same thing to myself. He was ****ed at himself for not getting the sack.

Also, did you see him sitting on the bench after the game, he literally looked upset. Dude is never satisfied and I f**king love it.

If he keeps at this pace all year, he’ll get an invite to NYC!
