Miami Director of Player Personnel Devontay Love-Taylor offered Sainteus last week after reviewing his spring game film. Their phone conversation was brief, but Sainteus recalled that the Hurricanes wanted to get him on campus for a gameday visit for their season opener against Notre Dame.
“I like the atmosphere. I like the vibe,” Sainteus, who moved to the United States from Haiti as a high school freshman, told CaneSport. “I do actually like the vibe, the way they’re moving, the fans – the fans are being crazy right now.”
Sainteus committed to FAU on June 28 following his official visit to Boca Raton. He’s locked in with the Owls for now, but with all of these Power Four schools now pursuing him, he’s open to what they have to say.
“It’s been a lot. It’s been amazing. Everything was so fast because I was just at school walking, [and now] ‘Boom!’ People were calling me with offers. So yeah, it was amazing.”
