Here is the really really really stupid thing about this. Even if you're scared and you want to play it safe, you run a safe play call and see what happens. If you get a quick 15+ yards, you're in business and you go for it. If you don't then you take a knee. There's literally zero reason in the world to not a run a play there.

26 seconds left in one time out and he decides to kneel down. If I am his quarterback, I pretty much quit on my head coach at that point. Because it shows that he has zero faith in me at the office. But, what’s even worse, is how he injects himself into the offensive play calling. His offensive coordinator screamed at him during the game. That’s how bad it is. Changes must be made. He must be forced to remove himself from any type of interference with playcalling. I am sick of this ******* bull****.

You get the ball to Malachi Toney and see what happens

It was a poetic, fitting end to a game filled with unbridled stupidity

We shall call it the reverse GT.

No. It's an indictment on his game mgmt acumen.

We've seen it over and over again.
Nobody is saying it was the right decision. But it's obvious we have been trying to handcuff Beck so he doesn't lose us a game by throwing interceptions.

Two things can be true at once. Mario is a horrible game manager. Beck is clearly uncomfortable right now and is completely untrustworthy in late game situations.

The retarded thing about not trusting your QB, is you aren't going to ******* win anything important with that mentality and gameplan regardless. So what the **** is the point in not trusting your QB?

Either A) your QB sucks and you won't win **** anyways

B) your QB is good and you CAN win something important

C) your QB is good but based on you not trusting them and letting them play ball you box yourself into a position where the QB is effectively bad.

Like there is literally NEVER a scenario where you think you are a playoff team and shouldn't just default to having absolute trust and faith in your QB - regardless if he is actually bad/average/good/great. Literally what the **** is the point of playing important games and moments with a PLAN designed around not relying on the most important position and highest paid player on the field to make plays. Just ******* ***** *** retarded mentality

Correct. We don't trust our QB and now he and everybody else knows it (if they somehow didn't before that decision). Does not bode well for the rest of the year.
