Franklin and Chaney did not have any major injuries at Miami. Franklin was soft as baby **** and Chaney was overrated as ****. Knighton had fumble and character issues and Citizen had that major injury.

Did Parrish even prepare? 29.5 vert and 7 on the bench? And those numbers are so glaring that they make that sorry 40 easy to over look despite the fact he's built like a scat back

Citizen never even got a chance, injure in like first carry of first scrimmage, devastating knee injury, think he shredded everything man.. Sucks fr.

Yea it was probably wrong of me to call him a bum because that injury ****ed him. But the other 3 were overrated bums.
 
A lot of these guys would be good RB2 types but they wouldn’t be starters on championship contenders. These are the kinds of players that 7 win programs sign.

Same thing I used to tell Heat fans with Lebron in his prime, ENJOY this moment because you might not ever see it again, to get the best player to play for YOUR home team and not take for granted.. Sony Michel, James Cook, Homer, Fabian Moreau who was converted to a DB at UCLA, Walton, James White and Giovanni Bernard outta STA, Devonta Freeman, etc

That whole room was bad, plus Chaney.

Parrish was the worst athlete but best player. He leads the group in every category (yards, TDs, YPC). Knighton was second. The other two did nothing.

This yrs RB room is going to be VERY interesting to see how the staff handles it.

Brown Imo is a solid RB3. But like the guys we are *****ing about he’s imo not a great athlete. He’s just big, a solid dependable runner, and trustworthy in blocking. I very much doubt how good of a reveiving option he actually is, I just think he was the guy there cause Fletcher can’t catch. How many carrries is he going to get though? I literally can not think of a single reason besides just wear and tear why I’d want Him getting carries over Fletcher though.

Then we look at Lyle who imo was probably the BIGGEST disappointment on the entire roster last yr. And everyone is just blaming it on Injury… idk we will see. I do wonder if we look back in 2-3yrs and see his combine/pro day performance and see he isn’t nearly the explosive athlete we thought he was… but my biggest worry is that yet again Lyle is a practice hero that the staff loves, and then come game time he does a whole lot of nothing yet again. The GOD news is with Mensah and this WR core even with our Oline likely taking a step back (especially early), the RBs will have an absolute **** load of pressure removed from them. It’ll be a lot more similar to with Cam and how teams were scared to load the box which is the exact opposite of last year. I do worry Lyle gets too many snaps and does nothing with them again…

Then we have Pringle imo who SHOULD be RB2 to Fletcher as he is a perfect compliment. He’s basically what Parish would be if he was actually fast and explosive with great acceleration. I swear to god if Lyle gets significantly more snaps than Parish and does nothing with them I’ll be annoyed. And last yr all the bs about not trusting him to block is just dumb to me.

I’d say my biggest worry about this RB group isn’t actually their performance this yr. I think it’d take complete incompetence to not get elite output out of the RBs this yr with the QB and WRs we will have. But what I am very closely watching is usage and how that will impact NEXT yrs team. Fletcher will be gone. Any or even all 3 of the others I mentioned could leave for one reason or another….

2020, 2021, and 2022 were the worst times. Once we got fletcher, things started trending up rapidly.

Broward/Dade have also not been putting out RBs in the 20s like they used to beforehand. The early and mid 10s were loaded

We aren’t even talking about dudes we missed on that left elsewhere and were good

It has been weird the past couple of years…. Feels like RBs ain’t what they use to be and maybe a devaluing of the position the past 10 years by the NFL has gotten down to the HS level where kids rather just play something else

100% agree. Parrish was solid & consistent - just limited.

Knighton & Chaney had some flashes/big plays - but overall pretty underwhelming.

But it's SHOCKING just how bad they tested athletically:

Knighton - weighing 173 lbs (his recruiting profiles had him 185-194) + 7.47/3-Cone & 4.47/Shuttle are off the charts bad

Franklin - 4.80 40 time is....awful

Chaney - He's at ULM now & listed at 235 lbs. He was 220 at Charlotte. He was 210 at Miami. If that weight is correct then he's completely let himself go.
