The five-star will be at Ole Miss on May 16, then Miami on May 30. He saw those two schools last month and those visits helped propel the Rebels and the Hurricanes up his list.

“It was really my first visits to both schools,” Bowman told On3. “I was at an Ole Miss camp when I was in 5th grade and I was at Miami for an hour with California Power over a year ago, so these visits made strong impressions on me.

After return visits to Oxford and Coral Gables, Bowman will go back to Texas on June 6, Georgia on June 13, USC on June 17 and Oregon on June 20. Each of those schools have sent coaches to meet with Bowman and his family this spring.

“I am still in between on when I want to commit,” Bowman said. “I am torn between late summer or in November or December. If I know after official visits, I will commit. If I am not 100% sure, I will wait, so the official visits will tell me a lot.”

“I have already talked Xs and Os with all these schools, so we have been through that part. On these official visits, I want to build on the relationships and see how I fit in with the team. See how I bond with the players will be big for me. If I feel good about playing football with them, that will help me with my decision. The NIL is a part, and it will be part of the visit, but it is not what I am looking for first on the official visits.”

The Bowman family is set to return to Miami on May 30 for an official visit. The Hurricanes will be the second program to host the 2026 prospect, following his May 16 trip to Ole Miss. Following his time in Miami, Bowman — the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking — will take official visits to Texas on June 6, Georgia on June 13, USC on June 17, and Oregon on June 20.

“I have already talked Xs and Os with all these schools, so we’ve been through that part,” Bowman said. “On these official visits, I want to build on the relationships and see how I fit in with the team. Seeing how I bond with the players will be big for me. If I feel good about playing football with them, that will help me with my decision. After reclassifying from the 2027 class, the Hurricanes were behind the eight ball for Bowman. But once Miami staffer Juan Navarro made the trip out to California to check in on him, Bowman’s interest in the Canes reignited — and Miami has continued to build on that momentum.

“He’s just really fired up and has a lot of energy,” Bowman said. “He made it clear that the Canes are coming after me, and we have a good relationship. I like him for sure.”

Although there’s still work to do, the Hurricanes have positioned themselves within striking distance for Bowman, who is one of the program’s top offensive targets in this cycle.
