2026 v 2021 Roster is Laughable

These are the starters from that 2021 team that would actually play on this team

STARTERS: Rambo, Borregales, Hedly, Stevenson, Mallory

Rotational Players/Solid back-up: Kam'Ron Harris, Mike Harley, Jon Ford, Nesta Silvera, JHH, DJ Scaife

Limited Action, but still on team: Jahfari Harvey, James Williams, DJ Ivey

Kick Rocks: TVD, Keyshawn Smith, Navaughan Donaldson, Zion Nelson, Jakai Clark, Jarrid Williams, Zach McCloud, Corey Flagg, Waymon Steed, Amari Carter, Bubba Bolden, Gurvan Hall.
 
For context, here were the All-ACC selections from this team:

1st Team: NONE (lol)
2nd Team: Rambo, Scaife, Hedley
3rd Team: NONE
Honorable Mention: Knighton, Nelson, Stevenson, James Williams, Borregales
 
And I was thinking earlier today, another playoff appearance and we’re just getting started. We have so many young guys playing that have a lot of promise
 
Vs the 2023 roster (that should have won 9 not 7) is laughable.

I remember sitting in Chestnut Hill as we came in a 6-5 team having thrown the season away. I wondered if we'd EVER get it together.

Who’s Stevenson starting over?

arroyo and Andy, Stevenson, and Kam, Lou

James williams at LB
 
Mallory plays if he blocks
Both Kickers
Stevenson would have a role
Rambo was the goods he would at least be wr3
Williams if he moved to LB and he would have or he would have been gone
Donaldson if he bought in
Harrison-Hunte wouldnt start over Scott and Moten but he would have had a role for sure

Rambo would be WR3, Tyrique would probably start at NB & Harley would be 2nd string at slot.

But Amari Carter and Ivey would never see the field on our 2026 team.

He's starting over Lucas at one of the CB positions. It would be close, but I think he would be a starter on this team. Big, physical corner that has decent cover skills, can tackle, and can play the run. Heatherman's type of corner. Yes, he had some bad games in his time here, but so has OJ and Lucas.
