2026 Roster Discussion

That would be massive!!!!!! Need a power lefty bat in this lineup. If Ogden and Galvin return, that is a stacked squad. Possible lineup?

R - Jake Ogden
L - Max Galvin
R - Daniel Cuvet
L - Alex Sosa
R - Brylan West
L - Cian Copeland (DH?)
R - Derrick Williams (is he returning?)
R - Vance Sheahan
L - Michael Torres

That lineup is **** good
I think we lose Ogden…he has to jump at the draft no matter where he goes. D2 to small d1 to Acc and has kept progressing.

I think/hope/wish we’d get Miller from Columbia.

How far along is Robert at this point? So many of these kids get the surgery, do things the proper way with recovery and it ends up showing in velo increases. He comes back and has a slight uptick he’s another quality pen arm.

But timelines are different for everyone. I had a kid come back in 10 months and be locked and loaded. Others and more common fall into the 12-15 months range before they are truly back.

Excited Oh No GIF

Dont mean this as a negative post becuz im pumped for these additions, but with the starting lineup pretty much set, how does this affect the incoming stud FR? Do they consider the draft more likely now, do they jump ship to a college that has open starting spots?? Do we see them being patient as FR and wait for year 2???

We need to continue to look for arms - What if Marks gets drafted ? Love all the pickups but you need 5 arms that could start at any time in case of injuries - I know no one wants to sit but 17 - 20 innings on a contender has to be better ( all the way around ) than pitching 40 innings at Northern Mongolia St ….

Nope. They consider coming even more. You don’t jump **** because of some portal guys that have 1 more year on their eligibility. You come learn and as JD has shown, you shine in the opportunity he’ll give you.

2-3 committed full bullpen arms. Not guys that want to start, guys that know their worth in the pen.

Perfect - You need 12 - 13 arms that end up with 15 innings or more plus development guys that can fill in lopsided games or weekday games …. I get it , You have to score runs - Not make errors to win but look at the final 4 left standing this year ( They ran arm after arm after arm out there all week in supers and Omaha ) Let’s get back to Van Belle - Cecconi - McMahon - McFarlane then turn it over to Garland , Fed , Palmy and Keysor …. People keep saying that EVERYONE throws 95 now welp let’s get some of those ! ! ! ! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
