Absolutely terrible way to view it. Life long dream is a life long dream, and if you go off dominating college then only sub 5% do that. So if we’re playing the odds game, nobody should be trying to go pro.

Stay in college as long as you can until you’re dominating there, then make the jump. Make your mark on a college program, that is way more valuable then jumping to minors and getting washed out. One extra year in college is better than a sorry *** year in the minors.
Now if you’re elite, and getting millions that’s a different story. 1st rounders get so many more opportunities to make it in the minor leagues over a late round draft pick
I had friends that dominated college and then made it to the majors and others that didn’t dominate college and got washed out in the minors. No one gives a **** what you do in the minors, people remember what you did in college or the majors
