A few things:

(1) I've defended our portal strategy when it comes to all non-QB positions. My only complaint is about QB.

(2) we agreed you can gloat once we land a quality QB. That hasn't happened yet. I will voluntarily walk into the fire you start as a sacrifice if we land Mensah.

cway provided a prime example of my point. CIS has a terrible time assessing other programs or giving credit where credit is due -- especially to someone like Diaz getting Mensah from Tulane.

It would be great to land Mensah. Not sure why people are fighting about it.

Again, he was fresh off his first year as a stater. I mean, if you want to call it a "gotcha" moment, be my guest lol. I'll give you some advice- go find some comments during the 2025 season.

I’m conflicted.

On one hand, the SCar OT canceling seemed to indicate Bell might stay. His film against Ole Miss wasn’t great. This is a massive game for his NFL stock imo, cause it’ll be against what he struggles with most: speed rushers.

But on the other, NFL scouts love his size (pause). He’s improved dramatically from his JUCO film. He had fantastic and key moments during this playoff run. I wouldn’t blame him if he changed his mind.
