2026 Portal QBs

Before anyone freaks out if he doesn't enter today, remember that schools have 48 hours to enter a player into the portal. Duke is probably going to use every second of those 48 hours to try to convince him to stay.
Or..

Not enter him

In this case though, they wouldn't be gunning for specific performance. Duke would instead try to enforce the provision that prevents others from paying Mensah. They wouldn't argue that Mensah can't play at all. It's different, and I have no idea whether this variant is potentially enforceable.
Miami does not seem that worried FWIW

Yea but for them to enforce that means THEY should be paying him then if they don't terminate the contract.

Truthfully, nobody has an idea unless you read these contracts.

Dukes legal team after they “scrutinize” this:

This has to absolutely bother the fck out of the Tobacco Road mafia.

The most hated team in the acc happens to be in the natty and the only team keeping the conference at some level of relevance.

They have to be torn in letting us keep winning or letting manny keep his qb while knowing that duke has no chance of being a contender on a national level in the next few years even if Mensah wins a Heisman.

lol at people who think Duke University is poor and has no money 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ money womt be the deciding factor, cause Duke can over pay. Its winning and exposure that would be the deciding factor in my opinion
This!!! and the fact that If they match, then everyone on the team is gonna have their hand out for more bread. Do their alumni want to foot that high *** bill to keep their team together for an 8-5 type program? Decisions Decisions
