I'm moping, but I'm not even hoping for a stud. Just give me a decent name who can throw for 3k and not turn the ball over.
This is my main issue…..someone with experience and that is competent is fine. Simply sticking in-house is a non-starter and shouldn’t even be a possibility.I really doubt Emory is going to be the starter
That's definitely not the plan I can confirm that lolThis is my main issue…..someone with experience and that is competent is fine. Simply sticking in-house is a non-starter and shouldn’t even be a possibility.
I saw teams that had offensive lines that couldn't stop mediocre D lines and teams that gave up halfway through the game when they were behind. No, but that the was the main reason.
My god. You're proving my point brother. You put Jacory Harris behind this line and hes a heisman contender. This is the best Miami D since the early 2000s. Its not a coincidence it came together this year. They've been building it.
Probably? Emory isn't even on those guys' level, quite frankly. He was shockingly bad against Arizona State last year.I think you and others are forgetting what it’s like to have an average or below‑average QB running the offense. That alone costs you 3–5 games. There’s going to be a rude awakening next year for the folks with short-term memories.
Emory is probably no better than TVD, Malik Rosier, etc. We went 10–2 the last two years despite having Cam Ward and Carson Beck. Without a real QB, I’m expecting 7–5 or 8–4.
You can win without a "stud" QB. No offense to my man, but we won 10 games with Malik Rosier in 2017.
Yea how many first round OTs did we have? Or any NFL OL for that matter? Or a top 10 Defense? Or 2 Freshman AAs? Or a 6'2 220 pound RB? You're the dumb**** missing the thing slapping you in the face. We run a real program now. No go along and keep crying. My god.
Let me spell it out as clearly as I can and then I'll let it go.
We had average to below-average QB play form 2004-2023. We wont 10 games 1 time.
We had excellent QB play in 2024 and 2025. We won 10 games both seasons.
The critical ingredient is basically slapping you in the face. Ignore it if you want.
I watched all 12+ minutes. 12 min of clips is roughly 72-75 clips on the low end. I saw about 7-8 plays where he utilized his legs. None of them looked fluid or athletic by college standards. Like I said, pulling it down and running for 15 yards in HS once in a blue moon does not mean they will be able to utilize their legs in college. And if you're taking a kid with accuracy and processing issues (literally the two most important things a QB can have), he better be able to effectively use his legs to pick up yards as a contingency until he can improve his issues. How to Say, I've never seen Judd's highlight video without saying, "I've never seen Judd's highlight video". Not saying that Judd will ever step on the field for a meaningful snap here, but his frame, better than avg. arm, and athletic ability is what got him the offer. His main issues from High school were accuracy and decision making. which honestly is the difference between a decent QB and a Great QB. Judd was always putting the ball in harm's way. If he ever "figures it out", we may have something. But according to where he's at on the depth chart, he's not nearly there yet.
Emory wouldn't be out partying the night beforeEmory makes Rosier look like Joe Burrow
Thought he played really good vs OSU imoCarson Beck beat A&M and OSU throwing for 250 yards combined you people need to seek help if you think we won because of anything he did.
We are a couple of days from Toney being a buckeye if this doesnt get resolved in 8 hrs.I'm a couple of hours away from advocating Toney throwing the ball to himself (and being serious about it).
