So I just turned on ESPN at my firehouse to enjoy lunch and Matt Miller was just on saying 5 QBs are projected 1st rounders for the 2027 draft…and one of them was Trinidad. Weird.

Bailey might be a prideful guy. We passed over him last year. And this year, we chased around Ty Simpson, Sorsby, and Sam Leavitt and his clown-show brother. NC State has been with him all the way.

Maybe our money can overcome his pride, but he's probably being paid pretty handsomely by NC State, too. We probably just missed the boat.

If I had to guess, this is why it’s taking so long.

As long as they register for classes in time, any student can choose to enroll in a new university. That's why a lot of these programs hold their kids to contracts
