Exactly. These guys are throwing around such clown *** takes right now complaining about oh we should have gone after QB plan D first right out if the gates so that message board posters can be comfy and sleep at night.

by the way, is it really "tampering" if you're working through an agent? I thought that was the whole point of agents?
even if it is tampering, there's no way to prove it I guess..

Cam declared for the draft and we landed him

But now because CJ Bailey said he’s gonna play for NCST people think we have no shot (we are getting someone else imo)

You can’t reason with that logic so I’m here for the lulz

Probably Not if everything works out as well as we’d all hope.

If we did get him though the realistic REASON he’d be here 2 yrs is we’d be willing to pay him to return, have Toney returning, and would be going all in for another National Championship run.

This upcoming yr may be more of a youth transition, even if we do still hope to make a cfp run.

@Cribby - there is an arrogance about this program and another team in your avatar (Eagles) that you and I share and that organization had a head coach that is as arrogant as they come that hopefully this season for him and this process of acquiring a QB slaps the the **** out of the face of Mario and staff to humble themselves back down a few notches.

Well I’m not even like saying it needs to be Bailey, more so that if a guy we like gets another like $1M from us BECAUSE we took the chance to swing higher, I don’t see it as THAT big of a deal.

Ultimately to me it’d be confirming this strategy as the correct one. If we can pull a legit starting QB this late and after the well has dried up, then what would anyone be complaining about about? That means we can always swing for the home run early and just default to we got the bigger bag than you and can steal a solid starter worst case scenario.


To me it’d literally would show the ONLY negative to this strategy is it may end up costing us like an extra $1M… which when you’re coming off a +$20M playoff run…. Idgaf
