The 247 mods on Utah's site seemed to confirm the rumors that we're tampering with him. They've also said they feel confident Dampier is returning to Utah. I wouldn't get your hopes up, but until he's resigned, he's probably at least listening.

Dude sucks.

His inability to throw the football beyond a few yards is what killed them.

Go back & watch Cal game last year. Kid threw the ball well & used his legs escaping pressure. Improved, yeah - but difference is the system & talent upgrade around him. QB whisper chatter is BS.

Lets go boys. Tamper real aggressive here. 🤣 do we have any direct connections to Dampier? For 4-5 million his agent has to be curious no? I would think every agent in USA is reaching out to miami to gauge interest

I agree he's not the world's best thrower, but he doesn't suck.

He threw for 2,500 yards, rushed for 800 yards. 34 TDs (24 throwing) to 4 Ints. Top 10 QBR.

He isn't a NFL QB, and probably a downgrade from Beck, but he's head and shoulders above what we have on the roster. I'd take him.
 
I mean as far as poaching a QB, the guy that seems very poachable would be someone like Fifita or some ****.

I think Staff clearly wants Ty Simpson. And will likely wait till he has the final go no go on draft decision.

If Simpson withdraws from portal, and we got him it’s be a major major win from Mario. It’s risky though cause if he really does has 1st round projection, that would be a harder pulll than Cam and Beck who we’d not even 1st or 2nd rounder had they stuck with draft
 
I'm assuming Simpson goes to the NFL and we are shopping from a list of QBs with eligibility but have already graduatued. They are not bound to portal timing as I'm sure you all know.

If talking about Grad Transfers, yes, they go by one portal window now

If talking about someone finished at current school, then they could enroll in Spring technically
