The opposite is true. The same people called Mendoza “Cuban Emory.”If he was anywhere other than Miami and was brought up as an option the overwhelming response on this board would’ve been against the idea.

Still wish and hope we can bring CJ Bailey home. The opposite is true. The same people called Mendoza “Cuban Emory.”
D, I know we're still going all-in for Simpson. But are we comfortable riding with Emory if that doesn't transpire? Or are the coaches going to have other backup plans ready? The opposite is true. The same people called Mendoza “Cuban Emory.”
We need motion with Tavien St. Clair or Longstreet. How long will this go and be a distractionThe opposite is true. The same people called Mendoza “Cuban Emory.”
Yep, he was better in hs than any he qb we have recruited. Aside from possibly Coleman, who just doesn’t have the size right now. The staff obviously has zero faith in Nickel, or any qb on the roster currently or they wouldn’t be shopping around.Since HS if we are being honest
We very well could end up with Simpson. But the last two years was kind of luck with who we got. Can’t do this every single year. We've done this two years in a row and ended up with great QBs both times. Not worried.

Not to mention the Beck situation was unique with his injury situation. We very well could end up with Simpson. But the last two years was kind of luck with who we got. Can’t do this every single year.
I hear you on that, but what’s the explanation then for Bailey still being a mid ACC program? Did teams like Miami, LSU, Tennessee, etc. inquire and he decided not to hop in or was there no interest from higher level programs? In your example, IU plucked Mendoza. The opposite is true. That's also, and it always has been, my point. We very well could end up with Simpson. But the last two years was kind of luck with who we got. Can’t do this every single year.

Nickel is a less impressive Harrison Bailey. Nickel is not the guyI wish Nickel did enough to convince the coaches but it seems like he is still not ready. He wanted to be a Hurricane from the start and never wavered. It would be great not to go through this circus for several years
Bring in Longstreet and let him compete. If it’s true nickel ain’t close to Emory then who cares about his feelings
I mean that's all you need to know about the kid. We dodged a bullet plain and simple. Gimme Emory let's ride#1 overall draft pick, playing for a natty, millions of dollars? nope! I prefer to play at a program in decline for that quitter who's known to walk out on his players whenever it benefits him.
Frick that kid and his brother
