Yeah didn’t he have surgery one week and then have to play Texas the very next week? Granted, I don’t know anything about this stuff, but it seemed alarming at the time.

I think he missed two weeks. I have had multiple broken bones in my life and none required surgery, so it must have been a pretty serious break.

I remember seeing that the surgeon put several screws in his hand during the surgery. Even two weeks doesn’t seem like enough time to heal, but again, I know nothing about that injury.

Surprised Kenan Thompson GIF
****! So Nebraska is a little salty huh? Dem ****** playing dirty. 😂🤣😂. It does leave one to wonder, IF this was Akron the works and that’s what caused the kid to transfer…. or is this firing the result of the kid jumping in the portal. Crazy business in a wild time, fellas!

I don’t know. He’s great with escapability but he was horribly inaccurate. I know the thumb impacted that but some of those throws were not the thumb lol
His injury didn’t just impact his throwing ‘some’. It was monumental. He also tried to come back early because he’s a gamer and it didn’t pay off.

He’s not Ward as a passer but he is significantly better than what he showed the last couple months.

Those multiple pick sixes against LSU and Bama where he stared down the DB and delivered perfect picks were kind of amazing
Where do you have him in your rankings?

Whats your top ten qb portal list and at what point do you prefer to roll with a current qb we have? (A good question for the people who say the dont want mateer period)

Mateer just led one of the worst offenses in the SEC and honestly the country. 91st in yards per game. Are we sure we want him? He's low on the list for me.

I'm not a Bailey ride or die, but I'd rather go with him than inaccurate Mateer.
