2026 Portal QBs

he does but next year will be his 5th year in college. I suppose it's possible he can still play one more year. Thought I read that he was likely to leave. Not sure.

No big deal

Looks like his Wiki page is incorrect

He started at Ferris in 2021 so this year is his RS Sr year and only way to return is to sue to get another year

5’11 180 so he will be limited with options but he’s having a ridiculous year

BRING HIM TO ME
I watched his game last night, and Cal clearly was a drop-back passing team, but they seemed focused on dink-and-dunk-type passes. Nonetheless, there's no doubt about his arm talent. Some of his throws against Oregon State were surgical, and he delivered with confidence. His splits show he thrives in the Red Zone and on money downs, which is a great sign for a kid his age. We need to do whatever it takes to get a 2-year guy next year and hope it's him.

I’m tired of Portal QBs

Is it the plan from now on?
You're tired of some of the better offenses we've had around here over the last two decades? D'Eriq King, Cam Ward, Carson Beck. All three have been solid, and outside of Brad Kaaya, we haven't recruited anyone that has been nearly as productive as any of those three guys since Ken Dorsey.

Stack the QB room(and every room) with as much talent as possible. The Portal exists, it's there to be used, USE IT. That doesn't make this an all or nothing gamble. Miami has done a good job of recruiting guys with upside and bringing them in to compete. Miami has also made sure to get youngsters on the field that have shown themselves ready to contribute early. It's about competition and TALENT. If Nickel or Coleman show up in the fall and take the job, that's fine, but you don't plan your entire season around that. You stack the room. Miami needs a portal QB, period.
