Yes - with the big boys of college football IMO unless a coaching staff likes what they see from a QB.

Ole Miss has a starting QB that's a transfer.
The point is the teams hit the portal to get starting QBs and sometimes they're only their for one year starting, sometimes it's multiple years.
Understand all that
They tried last year and I'm sure some inside the building want a multi year starter whether it's the portal or not. But also, this is kind of the new college football.
