If Bailey wasn't from Miami why would anyone be picking him over Kevin Jennings to constantly talk about going after? Meanwhile he's never mentioned...

This board is obsessed with every Florida guy that got away and had some sort of success. He is good but hasn't been linked to the portal other than to try and get a raise. Outside this board nobody knows who he is.

CJ Bailey's true freshman stats were on par with Heintschel and JKS. His sophomore stats were better than Mendoza's stats last year at Cal.

If he was from Texas instead of South Florida, everybody on this board would be all over him.

Mason Heinschel turned down a ridiculous overpay at the 11th hour to stay loyal to the Narduzzi. Two year contract for almost double what he’s making at Pitt. From a business standpoint alone, the kid is a flat out moron. Loyal until it’s too late.

Unfortunately for us, now it’s panic mode…aka Bailey and Fifita (amongst other backup options).

I agree with D$ & Pete that we should of gone after Bailey early. I like how the staff chose home runs first which they should always do but there is nothing wrong with having solid fall back options. Maybe the staff just does not see it in Bailey and that is something we will soon find out. I think he is fully capable of being elevated by the weapons around him. I think the game he had against us left a sour taste in many fans mouths and I get that but it was one game against one of the best defenses in the country. If we get him I think it's a great pickup.

Bailey is a 2 year solution at QB with upward trend and natural development. If he has a gigantic Junior year, he goes to NFL, and we are happy. If he continues to develop and improves a little from last year, we would be happy, and get a 2nd year out of him.

Yea he had rough game against us. Our Defense is obviously elite. and we give EVERYONE problems. No one knows how good our defense is better than we do.

D$ and pete on the podcast today were talking up CJ bailey and how he should get voer being snubbbed in high school. They also mentioned him squeezing a little more from us now

Seems to me Bailey is our guy and since he has the leverage hes gonna get as much $ from us as possible before signing.

I support that. Let’s get him.
