Kinda hilarious to say when LSU’s second and third string quarterbacks are portal guys, and the third stringer used to be committed to A&M
With a sudden swiftness. Elko is also basically admitting to the fans calling for a backup that they don’t have one good enough to overtake Reed. I was skeptical they’d replace a multi-year starter heading into his fifth season next year; however, depending on how ugly this gets they may have to.Or look at Oregon, in multiple cycles.
The vibes at A&M have really turned south quickly. Going to get interesting if they end up with a really bad season.
It really has. Just goes to show it doesn’t matter what’s on your roster , if you don’t have a QB, your *** out.

That is main reason after 20 years in the desert we actually have fans who dont want to be portal QB in perpetuity.. We have the right formula for this new era of CFB.. We would be fools to stop doing that unless we have a Keelon Russell type.. Which we have in future recruits.. IDK if they on roster yet..It really has. A&M is also having a complex because Texas may finally be getting right, and TT is spending big and catching up.
I said this in the Elk Error thread, i dont think most realize how even their talk host and homers are completely LAWST and doing the lords work of flooding the algorithm with how much they suck and it is over.. Its been beautiful to see, they are seriously insure on what will happen with Arkansas and expect the season to be absolutely terrible.Or look at Oregon, in multiple cycles.

Conference commissioners are talking schedules, logistics and the elimination of their league championship games — all conversations held with ESPN as the network works to deliver a formal offer ahead of the expiration of its negotiating window (Oct. 9).
Things are serious — enough that Clark, when asked, revealed some of the schedule of a 24-team field. The new eight first-round games would "ideally" start two weeks after the regular season ends, he said, leaving an open week where the conference championship games are currently played. Also, the eight second-round games will "most likely" be played on the campus of the better seed in the third week of December, he said.
Would CFP executives really spend hundreds of hours of time over scheduling and logistics only to decide against expanding to 24 teams? It's unlikely, especially when considering that "the money is there," as one CFP stakeholder told Yahoo Sports. It's a reference to the single biggest determining factor on expansion: Can the power leagues recuperate the revenue lost from the elimination of their conference championship games?
That figure is believed to be at least $250 million.
Agreed. It's different for some teams because they're not setup for a title run, no matter who the QB is. We're primed to win now, so we need a plug and play QB.That is main reason after 20 years in the desert we actually have fans who dont want to be portal QB in perpetuity..
