He's undoubtedly the best backup QB option in the country right now.
I'd wager he'll probably end up starting a few games before the season is over.

If dabo loses to lsu week 1 (I believe he will), at least he’ll gain some sympathy since the current national villains are LSU & lane kiffin.

still no word on if Emory Williams will be ECU’s starter
Right now we have Jacurri Brown and Jake Garcia announced as starters already for Rice and Furman. Reese Poffenbarger is presumed to be the starter at Akron as well; don’t see anything about a quarterback battle online.
Emory would make it four former ‘Canes which would have to be the most out any school. Kinda fascinating considering the most recent signee was Emory who was apart of the 2023 recruiting class.
Ohio State has Devin Brown at Weber State, Lincoln K at Louisville and possibly Air Nolan at Memphis (no starter named yet).

Kind of an interesting maneuver here. Three defensive backs were booted from Vanderbilt; two of them were low four stars on 247. The highest-rated amongst them has already enrolled at VT and is able to practice with the team yet he is ineligible to participate in games this season.
Prob too late for Hayden Lowe to try this, but i imagine even if Cam Vaughn won’t be eligible, he wants to enroll at his future school asap so he can at least practice with the team. Not sure whether or not the timing (the player was dismissed in March after enrolling in January) and the in-between juco school (is transferring from a juco he enrolled at, for summer classes i presume) are necessary factors for making this legal and not considered an Xavier Lucas-ghost transfer.
