2026-27 CANES Men's Basketball Schedule



Giving Miami road games against Duke, Carolina and Louisville really let's you know how the ACC feels about Miami.
I could be wrong but that feels a little back loaded.
However, by the time Miami plays those teams, we will be battle tested given the schedule Coach Lucas is putting together.
 
Upon further review, having Duke and Carolina as road games sets up perfectly for the ACC to schedule Miami to play both of those games within a 3 day period.
Feels like one game will be Saturday in Primetime while the second game is on Monday at 7 pm on ESPN, especially if all teams are ranked, which we all feel pretty comfortable that will be the situation.
Just a conspiracy theory right now but we shall see.
 
On the road against DUKE, UNC & LVille is going to be pretty brutal. Hopefully not all in a row in a 3 of 4 game set type of thing. Home doesn't have anyone THAT tough, maybe Virginia. Should be able to win most of the home games and hopefully the team is gelling at the right time for those tough road games. Wow no favors were done for us in the conference scheduling!
 


I think this is accurate if his jump shot has improved. I am not expecting him to be shooting over 40% from 3 but I expect him to be better in the mid range.
 


Starting the season against a Top 5 team should be fun. As they talk about Florida, it sounds like Miami will have the advantage in the backcourt.
 
I’m already penciling in the Nov 26 game on my schedule; UM v UM. The 2 universities I attended. They need to take care of business against TCU and Creighton, which should be very good games, but UM v UM would be a dream/nightmare matchup for me.

Wow our schedule is insane. UF, Texas, Bama, TCU, Creighton/Michigan + I think another from that tournament. Duke/Louis/UNC/UVA/whoever else turns out to be good in ACC.

Committee/analytics really value SoS so I love this for us.
