So after 36 at bats we are giving up on him?Ogden was also rated as a Top 100 prospect in the portal, this guy is rated outside the Top 200
I’ve already watched Sheahan commit a few errors in the Cape
If you can’t hit, and can’t play defensive???

Sources told me Evans is headed to play for Cotuit. He’s starting next Friday night there. Does this all but confirm he isn’t trying pro ball this year and is going to come back?
Ciscar gets the start tonight
Everyone that missed the cut plays a game tonight vs Appy League Select teamI thought he missed the cut?
It would be a great decision by him to come back and have a dominant year and elevate his draft stock

Ciscar is on the mound tonight vs Appy League Select team
I'll be honest, i looked at his highlights before looking at any stats....i just didn't see a great swing in his tape, not a lot of pop either. He keeps his back elbow low and although he doesn't coil back , the forward swing is a bit elongated. It's just odd to me, not a pure smooth swing i'm used to seeing paired with BA like his. We'll see if it translates against better comp. He's a Cane now so i'm rooting for the kid.Wareham had Vance Sheahan hitting 9th last night…he’s hitting under .200 in the Cape
I hope we bring in another MIF just to keep the competition high
I tend to rely more on his full season stats last year than a bad cape cod start. If we are lucky and Ogden comes back, I’ll take him at second all day next year.No not giving up on him at all, but not automatically pencilling him in either
I would Ciscar head back to South Florida for the remainder of the summer. What’s Ciscar planning on doing the rest of the summer?
He pitched well in his two outings with Team USA tryouts
5 innings of no runs
Is Cuvet heading back to Brewster since he didn’t make the cut for the Japan series?
InterestingBased on a post from his summer coach I have a feeling Cuvet isn’t going back to the cape.
The post isnt what you think. But hes right. Cuvet has played a ton of baseball...and going back to the Cape right really isnt going to improve his stock. He needs to be in the lab and continue working on seeing the ball out.Interesting
Love to see it
