2025 Summer Ball

Ogden was also rated as a Top 100 prospect in the portal, this guy is rated outside the Top 200

I’ve already watched Sheahan commit a few errors in the Cape

If you can’t hit, and can’t play defensive???
So after 36 at bats we are giving up on him?

Sources told me Evans is headed to play for Cotuit. He’s starting next Friday night there. Does this all but confirm he isn’t trying pro ball this year and is going to come back?

It would be a great decision by him to come back and have a dominant year and elevate his draft stock

Wareham had Vance Sheahan hitting 9th last night…he’s hitting under .200 in the Cape

I hope we bring in another MIF just to keep the competition high
I'll be honest, i looked at his highlights before looking at any stats....i just didn't see a great swing in his tape, not a lot of pop either. He keeps his back elbow low and although he doesn't coil back , the forward swing is a bit elongated. It's just odd to me, not a pure smooth swing i'm used to seeing paired with BA like his. We'll see if it translates against better comp. He's a Cane now so i'm rooting for the kid.

What’s Ciscar planning on doing the rest of the summer?

He pitched well in his two outings with Team USA tryouts

5 innings of no runs

Is Cuvet heading back to Brewster since he didn’t make the cut for the Japan series?

I would Ciscar head back to South Florida for the remainder of the summer.
Cuvet has the option to return to the Cape and improve his draft stock or come back and enjoy his time until school starts.

Interesting
The post isnt what you think. But hes right. Cuvet has played a ton of baseball...and going back to the Cape right really isnt going to improve his stock. He needs to be in the lab and continue working on seeing the ball out.

Scouts will just see more of the same until Cuvet buckles down and really improves on the outer half, particularly against the breaking ball.

Hoping Ciscar l gets some reps down here w/ the SoFla Collegiate League. He pitched a few innings the week before he left for Cary.
