Seahawks didnt need him. That was one of the worst spots he could have ended up. He will catch on fairly quick with a team.

yea hes 4th on their depth chart.

George Holani loked better at rb int he pre szn...seahawks had a deep rb room even though their top 2 backs are injury prone.

My dolphins need a back currently due to the wright injury wouldnt mind grabbing him.

Also won a SB and caught TD passes in championship games.

Dorsett is the classic example of a player basically having all the bad luck in the world at the beginning. Went to a team whose players were upset that he was selected, that team ultimately collapsing because their GM did not protect the best QB prospect the NFL has probably had in their entire history and when he was traded to a good team, he had recovered from a broken ankle and multiple hamstring injuries that basically cost him his speed and his ability to contribute.
The season needs to start. We got people writing crazy up in here.

They should, but they won't because they never do.

As for people saying Martinez should have stayed another year. To do what? Reproduce the same stats he did last year, if lucky? He would have gotten fewer carries. Maybe slightly better YPC. He got drafted by the wrong team. He'll catch on somewhere. So will X, likely as a practice squad guy for a year or 2. The Phins should get them both, but they won't. Because Dolphins fans can't have nice things.

Buuuuut @Calinative says every RB should leave as soon as possible
… they should. I think you think you’re making a good point, but it’s truly a dumbass one.

There is a lot of context to “as soon as possible” aka I said they are a lock to be drafted. Martinez apparently has been out of shape including when he came here, and was barely drafted. So there was clearly something holding him back.

Yeah I think if he starts the season in shape he goes for over a thousand easily. That would give him 3 thousand yard seasons in a row.

If he runs a 4.4 at 6'0 225 with those stats he is drafted by 4th round at least.
what did he run in this year's combine. i love the kid, but he seems to be a dime a dozen in the NFL
