2025 NCAA Selection noon ESPN2

Well Miami would be playing them in game 2, after they threw their 3/bullpen game. They aren’t wasting 1 or 2 on a #4 seed. So yes beating them is gonna be nearly impossible when you can’t out-pitch or out-hit them. Not to mention WVU is no slouch.
They aren’t wasting a 1 or 2 on a 4 seed, do you remember the 2023 regional? They threw Gage AND Rosario vs Maine! At this point winning game 1 of a regional is a tall task

We were worried about our RPI being too low in the high 30’s with SOS at 11 and it seems like UVA is trending in with an RPI of 64 and a SOS at 88. I don’t get that but then again one win against them or in the ACC tourney and we’re probably not sweating this out.

What does a bad coaching decision at Miami have to do with Tony V at Tennessee?

Gotta say, they’re not exactly screaming “we’ll leave out Kentucky” in anything they’ve done so far.

I'd say out. canes have great (meaning strength of opponent) first half conf. losses and ok back half conf series wins combine that with midweek? canes are out.
Logic says UVA, UCONN and ND get in over Miami. H2H needs to matter. Miami’s saving grace will be RPI and ultimately get in IMO. GT not getting a host hurts, but Miami will be last 2 in or first team out.

Came here to post my version of this. At every turn so far, they’ve clearly favored SEC over ACC.

“We value a season with highs and lows in the best conference in history over the second best in the country.”

Wow….Miami vs. Alabama and Jason Torres. I think we can beat Columbia with Ciscar in the losers bracket after that we’re probably done.
