I presume Lofton will be the ‘starter’ at tight end, but it’s rather meaningless. He could be the listed starter yet on the first play he lines up elsewhere with another player in the traditional tight end spot. Or they come out two-tight ends. Depends on the identity. Miami wants to create an offense and the game plan for a particular opponent.

There’s so much rotation that other than quarterback, I’d wager most positions starters are just the guy that lines up on the first play.

It will be interesting as the season progresses to see snap count.

That is true but it's not that hard to figure out most of the 2 deep. We could have a couple of surprises but for the most part we pretty much know who we're rolling with.
 
Does anyone know how good Zachariah Poyser actually is? All this talk about Thomas, Day, Fitzgerald and no mention of the likely starting free safety in Poyser. Leading me to believe he is either hurt or playing badly. Would appreciate an update on this. Worried we may get into some serious depth trouble at safety if my concerns are accurate at all.

Poyser has been singled out many times by the staff and teammates for his leadership and high level of play. Your concerns are largely unfounded.

How is Georgia and Texas and blowhio state comparatively. Seems we've been doing it that way since we've sucked so not sure what the point is. Turn on the gatech, cuse games for reference.
