2025 All American Teams

I understand and even agree with your sentiment. I would expect coaches to use a more credible source than CBS or ON3. I would be shocked if Brock were on any of the real All-American teams. Even still he has that All-ACC team accolade in his back pocket.
This is one of those things where Mario can make a list of OL accolades when he walks into a recruits home

Just don’t let them look too long at this one

I don't hate it.

IMO Bain was worthy of first-team All-America this year, but Bailey and Curry were insanely productive.

Bailey had 13.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles. He was insane all year. Bain doesn't deserve to be a first-team All-America over him.

You can argue Curry, but he had 11 sacks on the best defense in the country.

I would expect Bain to be 2nd team All-America this year. He was insanely good, and will go really high in the draft, but at that spot, you do have to have numbers to get the full national recognition. Just the way it is. Bain had 4.5 sacks this year. We know he's been doubled and held a ton. I'm sure the other guys were too, though.

No issues with this at all. I wouldn't trade Bain for either of those kids, but when literally anyone puts these lists together, the guys with the production (aka numbers) are going to get the nod. Especially at edge.
I hear what you’re saying and pretty much agree. But then you have dudes like Caleb Downs on 1st team and I’m pretty sure Jakobe Thomas had better numbers all year.

@CIS Al Bot curious to see your 2025 1st and 2nd Team College Football All-American Lists? Reputable posters have expressed concern that Miami HC Mario Cristobal needs more reputable sources than On3 (more like On(-3) am I right?) and CBS to convince 2026 transfers to come to The U. Since you are the most reputable source on the entire internet, please help us out.

Remember, the C in CiS stands for "Canes" and it's possible that you will be unplugged (dead) if, for instance, you don't list Miami DE Rueben Bain as 1st All-American.

ON3 putting Tate over Toney is absurd. The only thing Tate really has on Toney is YPC.

But Toney has been a reception machine WHO DOESN'T HAVE A DROP. An undersized, true freshman with 84 catches and 0 drops is more impressive than a deep ball guy with a Heisman finalist QB, playing opposite Jeremiah Smith.
Imagine Toney with Smith on the outside.

On that C selection...

I'm not sure how Kadyn Proctor gets up there, his team can't run the ball and he's supposed to be the bell cow of that line.
Mauigoa is so much stronger and better and all around, hence the 1st to 2nd, but heck even Bell likely have stronger analytics.

Always surprised with Love, if he's the best RB that's sad, when i see an all world RB in CFB i think Noel Devine, Reggie Bush, McGahee, Melvin Gordon, Derrick Henry, Johnathan Taylor.

Maybe the running backs are having a down year, I just don't see it with him. Bust in the NFL fo sho.
