I don't hate it.
IMO Bain was worthy of first-team All-America this year, but Bailey and Curry were insanely productive.
Bailey had 13.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles. He was insane all year. Bain doesn't deserve to be a first-team All-America over him.
You can argue Curry, but he had 11 sacks on the best defense in the country.
I would expect Bain to be 2nd team All-America this year. He was insanely good, and will go really high in the draft, but at that spot, you do have to have numbers to get the full national recognition. Just the way it is. Bain had 4.5 sacks this year. We know he's been doubled and held a ton. I'm sure the other guys were too, though.
No issues with this at all. I wouldn't trade Bain for either of those kids, but when literally anyone puts these lists together, the guys with the production (aka numbers) are going to get the nod. Especially at edge.
