L recruited this dude pretty heavily out of high school, and again when he left Nova. Would give us exactly the kind of ball handling and playmaking the roster lacks. We'd be a little small in the backcourt, but we'll survive.

I don't see it. Again, Pack's path to the league is being a lead guard, aka being the PG in an offense. Pack already is a defensive liability compared to the rest of the roster, you would not be able to put JQ and him on the floor together. Pack>JQ so JQ would not accept a bench role.
