That would be awesome. I know Kam hasn't looked anywhere near as polished as I thought coming off his AA season...U actually believe guys like kam and LT would come back tho? I know alot of these sites still have them projected as early picks. Guess I'm just so used to years of guys with no business leaving, always leaving. Would be a nice change

Taylor, Kam, JW would be massive and they totally should. Each one can improve stock.

Would allocate some serious NIL to get it done.

Mesidor is going to need to show some tape after this injury IMO.

I might be in the minority but give me TVD too.

This D could be very, very salty with those guys and a starting DL of Mesidor, Taylor, Burroughs, and Bain.

I hate using the Noles as an example but look at where they are just because older guys returned. And we have much better younger talent than them. Next year could be huge.

Yup. Remember Clemson bringing back the entire DL. IIRC 3 of those guys had first round grades at the end of the season and STILL returned. That was pre NIL bag days.

Fsu loaded up with Nil this offseason for returning players and the portal because they knew this was there one year at a big run. All those guys returned and now they’re in playoff contention. Which changed the programs image.


On top of that we play UF next year and could send a big message with all these guys returning.
 
When looking at the defensive snap counts remember we played a 3-3-5 stack/bear front majority of the game. So a guy like jhh was playing some de, so LT snaps naturally had to go up.

And u see 4 linebackers played more than half of our snaps. I dont know if that will happen every game because guidry is gonna adjust game by game, I think we will see more bear fronts tho because it looks like our best run defense option.

Unc was bad for him but i think the tempo really killed us, thats the outlier of teams running against us.

We have more healthy LBs than DL. Kelly out for the season, Deen still banged up. So until Messidor and Deen are full go, I can see a lot of odd fronts, either 3-3 or 3-4.

Agreed, it’s probably gonna be our base now.

Guidry stays multiple with some hybrid positions so he can always drop 8 or have more guys for the run

Obviously not a guarantee but sounds like a lot of guys he expects to leave after this yr based on these recent quotes from Kam. Wouldn't shock me. That's been the standard here. Subpar performance, subpar results on the field, basically every junior that can, will go. Hope that's not the case.

It’s Miami , I always expect guys to leave. Needing to come back and coming back are two different things lol.

Yea expect the worst pray for the best. Hope they come back but expect them to make poor decisions it’s been happening here for 15 straight years

I was actually kinda shocked how candid he talked about it too. He didn't strike me as the type to be discussing the draft or even looking ahead to FSU when there's 2 other games before them. It is Miami though so it makes sense. Sub par performance and sub par season but already talking about how many great players there are that should go in the draft lol
