They likely wont. What these man do is try to get you to live on the things you got wrong but the things they get wrong, they just quietly move on.

Its clear we are doing serious scouting of players. Not just looking at their stat sheet and industry ratings

I knew when I saw @DMoney say OR... smfh. We better get another CB. We keep talking about how we also are factoring in NIL value, well you can't tell me right now the value vs production/impact we'd receive from another CB wouldn't far outweight taking a S who hasn't proven he can even be our starter...

Steps I'd take:
1. Take another stab trying to get Ponds to portal here
2. Try a 3rd time with 2x more money.
3. Xavier Lucas, just cause this should be an absolute layup.
4. Get one of Tacario Davis/Ethan O'Conner (Tacario much harder to land imo)
5. If 1 and 2 fail, get a top Nickel CB. Idk if Fortenberry or Hamilton can play nickel but they are top portal CBs that still haven't committed. Skip and reexamine in spring if no top nickels available.
6. Get another Safety. Either Jalen Catalon or Fred Perry
7. Consider...
