(Listed as 5’8 150lbs, but not an updated h/w, he’s currently 5’10 165lbs ) 3-star WR out of Miami Gardens.

Was originally at Norland but then transferred to Champagnat last year.

Had a great Junior season with 42rec 688yds 13TD’s on Champagnat’s state championship offense.

He’s a quintessential slot WR, speed demon that has a quick release off the line & plays with an explosive burst in the open field. Runs with terrific contact balance & has an extra gear getting into the 2nd level of the Defense. A shifty jump cut runner who understands angles & dynamic lateral quickness with runs after the catch, will be a YAC machine in college. The run @2:30 on his tape shows a perfect example, the way he can cut on a dime & accelerate while downshifting at full stride without losing any speed is exactly what you want to see from a joystick mover playmaking WR.

Unlike most small South FL Slot WR’s he’s not a skinny beanpole, the kid has a stout physical frame & as you can see runs with a good center of gravity in order to cut so seamlessly & has a quick but smooth running gait that allows him to create space in enclosed areas & make defenders miss.

As a route runner they didn’t really use him in too many sophisticated patterns, all they had him run was Bubble screens, Reverses & 9 routes, but in camp setting at least he’s shown route tree versatility & understands how to stem properly to create separation & depth at the 2nd level, his transitional footwork getting in & out of his breaks is textbook with quick choppy steps & makes him a matchup nightmare for DB’s.

Was a big time performer under the bright lights, had 8rec for over 100yds & 3TD’s in the state title game & is a high character kid who you don’t have to worry about handling the mental aspect of the game, natural baller.

He plays for Champagnat the same school that delivered us Rousseau & Jaylen Harrell recently, he also plays for SOAR 7V7 squad & runs track. Haitian kid from Bunche Park that is friends with several players we’re recruiting & a number of guys already on our team.

Ole Miss has recently offered him & is selling him on playing the Elijah Moore role, they have the early lead because they were first to jump in on his recruitment from a P5 standpoint, but as @DMoney has been discussing the South FL Slot kids have had really good success in college & are making it to the NFL, this kid could be another one.

With WR spots limited to most likely 2-3 this cycle. Is this someone you would take. Is he a take over the Palmetto kid. Seeing as Miami with all their other offers are WR above 6"2. Can't see them taking 2 small WR's this cycle.

Yes I’d take him over Mike Jackson at Palmetto because he’s bigger, maybe not faster than Jackson, but he’d be more physically ready to play imo.

I also like his ability to break tackles, he runs like a RB with the ball in his hands & doesn’t go down on first contact.

Man, he processes things on the field fast as ****. Sure, he's quick, but he's moving to open space and already changing directions when players are coming to tackle him. Stout and slippery as ****.

That's not a 3 star guy, definitely higher. Healthy, he's going to murder people in college. One on one, you aren't tackling this kid.

**** of a player for sure. He's the exact type I was talking about in the Bond thread. He's got speed, not as much, but he's so much more elusive which makes him dangerous all over the field. Kid is nasty.

Looks like they have finally realized that speed, KILLS. Prosper, Bond (GA Kid?) and the the Dillard slot are all speedsters. Hope speed becomes the trend.

does Miami even know he exists? You would figure Miami would have a leg up since we recruited his school

Man these type WR’s grow like mangoes and oranges in the State of Miami. No reason in the world to have a Miami team especially offense devoid of game changing Speed!!! There’s no need to chase rankings with this skill set.
It’s really astounding how off our standard our WRs have been the past decade, relative to the standard we set from Eddie Brown to Andre. But kids are smart and we haven’t had an offense to recruit WRs to in ages. Not only scheme but QB, OL also.

Hopefully we can fix this. Need to change what we’re evaluating for big time. Give me separation, hands, body control, physicality and toughness over speed, size and routes. We can train routes. Hands and suddenness are a lot harder to train for. And kids who shy from contact prolly won’t start liking it.
