Purdue: The Big Ten looks like it’s going to be the deepest conference in the country this season. Make sure you don’t forget about the team in West Lafayette. Purdue lost both Nojel Eastern and Matt Haarms from last season’s 16-15 squad, but Matt Painter has always been known to find a capable formula for success. The veteran coach has called freshman Ethan Morton “the best passer he’s ever recruited” and he should pair nicely on the perimeter with Eric Hunter, Sasha Stefanovic, and Isaiah Thompson. Trevion Williams also returns as a focal point after leading the Boilers in both scoring and rebounding. Painter is also confident that two players who redshirted last season — Brandon Newman and Mason Gillis — will be factors in Purdue’s rotation. The Boilers will have a dog in the Big Ten fight.

This should be a good game.

Tough as always, but it could be worse. Out of the projected top 5 finish teams, we get 3 of them only once (UVA - road, Duke and Louisville - home) and 2 of them twice (UNC and FSU).

We face the following teams twice:
UNC (picked to finish top 3rd)
FSU (picked to finish top 3rd)
Clemson (picked to finish middle of the pack)
VT (picked to finish middle of the pack)
BC (picked to finish bottom 3rd)
Notre Dame (picked to finish bottom 3rd)
