For sure. Definitely not ideal but I'd prefer to play Army and perhaps it get a little national attention than schedule a potentially decent team like your Toledos to a freakin' home-and-home and have there be no recruiting or reputational benefit and the game being all risk.

You're right though. If we could schedule against a pass happy team that wouldn't be physically damaging and have it be a game in a Texas, California, Louisiana, etc where we'd like to recruit then it'd be more ideal.

I was trying to keep it realistic and balanced.

Two P5 teams - one in-state (UF), one out of state (USC, Oregon, etc)
One local FBS team - FAU/FIU
One solid FBS mid-major

I’d have no problem if that was the rule across the board for all teams, but very few if any do that on a consistent basis. That’s just not the way the system is set up
