2019 O-Line

Not ideal in my opinion, it should be campbell/herbert at left tackle, donaldson at left guard, gaynor at center, reed at right guard and scaife at right tackle.

Keep the same o-line coach so ths group of guys can use the techniques and systems already learned now anywhere from 2 to 3yrs. If the o-line looks like trash come next year, they'll be young, but they should be good at something they should be good at run blocking or pass blocking, i think next years unit will be a stronger run blocking unit and get better at pass blocking as the year goes on. And with better development from perry, homer, cam, deejay and possibly lingard, as well as adding realus george to the mix, we will be a much more physical offense and start looking more like we're suppose to look, than add in the wideouts development to the mix and the infusion of payton & hasslewood, coach richt gone just bout tell yall to get off of his nuts real soon as a play caller. This offense is a man's offense, not to much scheming gone be done to get guys open, Beat your man. That's how you get guys to the next level, not running these gimmick offenses, so i can appreciate this system.

I dumped the thread as soon as I read "keep the same OL Coach"....

Let's just keep eating the same spoiled, vibrio-infested raw oyster in the hopes the diarreah dissipates during the "2nd or 3rd" *****....

You think Reed would be better than Boulware at LG?

He would definitely be more powerful. Reed isn’t perfect yet but he can move people. Boulware is athletic but small.

Reed had a huge body and strong hands. Larry Warford-type.

That's fine but dont let the almost 200 rushing yards a game slip pass you in the meantime, and the low amount of holding calls we have. Our o-linemen dont get penalized much. 1 more year with better overall talent is being fair!

Dude! Are u completely outta your ****? I defy u to find one example of a linemen using any “technique” the last 3 years.

Unless standing up straight is a technique, these guys haven’t learned anything.

What do the berd recruiting sites say or teach you about our o-line technique!

Have to disagree. They have mastered the art of being turnstiles.

I think we will have the following five (back up five) and I'm being optimistic in a recruit coming here instead of Alabama...

Scaife/Campbell- LT
Donaldson/Reed - LG
Gaynor- C
Boulware/Reed
Neal/Campbell-RT

ONE CAN DREAM!

This was the 2-deep exiting spring iirc

1. St. Louis -- Jones -- Gauthier -- Manhoney -- Donaldson
2. Brown -- Scaife -- Gaynor -- Boulware -- Campbell

Brown going down in August prompted Scaife's move to tackle, which leads me to believe that Brown (who was the 2nd string LT when he was inured) might be given a shot to compete for the LT job, allowing Scaife to remain at RT.

Why are we playing Mahoney over boulware? The kid is good imo for the most part and is more consistent than Mahoney imo

You jumped on this recruiting service thing as crutch because you can’t argue with what I’ve been saying.

Yes... teams with more 5 star players win more. If you don’t see that, it’s cause u don’t wanna see that. Doesn’t really matter tho, it’s irrelevant.

As far as the OL goes.. if you’re a student of the game, as you say you are, you would know exactly what’s going on there.
