2017 commit

kid shouldn't have committed and staff shouldn't have pushed him to commit

How many more times do we have to ****ing hear this? Come on Al. if something hasn't worked 25 times in the last 2 classes why keep doing the same thing.

The whole thing is probably a ploy on the part of Golden - Remember when we finished with nobody on Signing Day 2015, and in an effort to change the subject on his inability to close, he started blabbling about how great Swag16 was on ESPN.

He pressures kids to commit and loads up early on future classes. When kids are seniors and realize he and his staff are complete garbage, they decommit and we limp to the finish line closing with nobody (see NSD 2014 and 2015).

The same thing will happen this year. Swag16 will crumble more than it already has and Golden will appear on ESPN in February, noting that while we didn't finish nearly as strong as we wanted we're off to a great start for 2017. Rinse and repeat.

And you can bet there will be plenty of dudes around here that get all juiced up about the hot start, talking about how Golden has finally learned to recruit south Florida. Happens every year.

This kid just committed and he's already using percentages. LOL.

Agree with all of this, I'm just ready for it to be over.

I have high praise on Navaughn Donaldson he's a type of kid that Miami hasn't been able to lockdown in recent years

this is a very big commitment for Al Golden

Looking forward to having a real coach here at some point so we can flood commit threads with *** shaking gifs to celebrate. No point in doing that now because we already know how this ends.

And it's completely unsurprising to see the same usual suspects downvoting posts expressing skepticism about our chances of keeping a four-star recruit and premier talent who already admits he's only 75% committed. We don't have any problem with decommitments, guys. This staff's track record with decommitments is not an embarrassment to this program. Everything's fine.
