2017 Coaches Salaries

He was CEO of Ameritrade (TD Ameritrade) at one point. He was making close to $21 million a year when he stepped away from the corporate business world. When he was CEO of Ameritrade they grew their market cap from $700 million to $10 billion..... This isn't some random idiot coaching Coastal Carolina. He's something like 51-15 in six seasons at Coastal Carolina and was FCS Head Coach of the year in 2015.

For real? That doesn't even make sense.

Dude should've bought his own NFL team and coached it.

dude is living the dream. he has all the money he needs for the rest of his life so now he's doing what he enjoys and is doing it very well.

Yeah, I get that...but, Coastal Carolina???

Maybe he just likes Myrtle Beach.

Division II school that had no aspirations of being anything but what they were..

No pressure, just football.

He probably views the coaching gig as his hobby.

He's worth $1.2B, would put him around 20th richest NFL owner.

Fedora has a $14million dollar buyout, does that mean Jordan has to pay him directly out of his pocket when they fire him next year lol

(Yes, I know MJ doesn't actually pay him)

I've seen that the UNC fans want Fedora gone but I'm not sure why. Yes, this year has been a hot pile of crap but hasn't he generally been successful there? Is UNC that delusional about their football program that they expect 10 wins a year?

A lot of thieves on that list.
Kirk Ferentz making $4.5mill a year with a $22million dollar buyout is First Degree Robbery.

In the grand scheme of things, I agree. Having said that, who heard of Iowa before him? He's had them in the thick of the Big10/11 battle and is typically good for one big upset every year or two. Considering the state they are in for recruiting and whatnot, I would say he's a boost to their program. He must like it there as he does well considering the schools competitive disadvantage.

Let me guess, you don't remember College Football Hall of Famer Hayden Fry. Iowa was legit throughout his tenure.
