He's not MVP for the same reason he ain't make conference teams. Lack of turnovers. Artie (and quite a few dudes in next years draft) are getting drafted for their ability to turn QBs over (except Alexander and Hargreaves, who were drafted purely off hype)

Won't disagree he played very well this year. Corn balled too

Earned it.

Proved himself to be the best back on the team, even though message board coaches all wanted the other 2-3 guys on the roster to take his carries.

Won't be surprised to see him as the best RB in the ACC next year. With the way Richt likes to run his offense, I can see Walton getting a ton of action, and then heading off to the NFL.
