2016 Fall Camp Thread

Tbh, we have question marks at every position but qb, te, and kicker.

Who will separate themselves at rb..

Will Cooley stay healthy, who will step up as the number 2, slot?..

Can we protect Kaaya..

Will Chad and/or AQM and/or Jackson finally play to their potential..

What will we get from Norton/Willis..

Two Fr. at LB. I think they will ball but still, who knows. Grace is solid..

Corn is ok. The rest are unknowns..

Will Carter be more disciplined? Hopefully he worked on his stiff hips. I have always like Jenkins in coverage. He is a ball hawk. He just needs to tackle better (Cinncy game). JJ will get alot of burn but is still somewhat of an unknown with extended playing time. Finley, unknown.

I hope Chad emerges he seems so focused on his music though.
It's a make or break year for Chad.

I like a lot of y'all's choices but to switch it up, my money's on Herndon. Kid looked like an All-American in the spring game. If he can keep the ball rolling, we could have two mismatch nightmares for Kaaya to fling it around to. There's an offense on the pro level that killed(pun intended ) with an absolute surgeon for a QB and 2 TE's you just couldn't cover. It's still moving like clockwork even though they're short one sociopath former ****.

Anybody have a kid off the radar that you think will make some noise this year?
Mine is RJ McIntosh
Idk if they're necessarily off the radar, but my two guys are Dayall Harris & Sheldrick Redwine.
I think both of them are going to have a huge breakout season & be major contributors for us.

Funny I just watched the spring game highlights on youtube

I think Herndon will ball out. Richt used some two TE sets at UGA during the Aaron Murray years and the Matthew Stafford years.

You may be on to something.

Things I would like to see from Camp:

5. Who's going to be our primary return men. We need our special teams to improve. Golden's special teams were a cluster*#ck. Our top teams were great on special teams, blocks, returns and coverage.

We need to cut out all the penalties on returns. Every good run called back for block in the back.

Per Matt Porter:

"A source said Wednesday that Al-Quadin Muhammad and Jermaine Grace will have a disciplinary hearing with UM’s administration during the second week of camp, at which time, the team hopes, the luxury rental car matter will be put to rest. As we previously reported, Juwon Young is not with the team; he remains on indefinite suspension."

Cross your fingers, pray to the gods.

In that article. It also states that Walton will start training camp as the starter, and they expect Wright and Mullins to get in.

Good Morning Canes fans. Today is the beginning of our rise back to the mountaintop.

Hope yall are excited as I

I'm with you in McIntosh. I think he and Norton will play on Sundays.

Wasn't Mcintosh a starter coming out of spring?

Yes. Him and Norton are our top 2 DTs right now and I expect them to keep their jobs, barring injury.

With Norton trimming some baby fat and getting stronger with a full year in a college weight program, I'm excited to see him play as well.
True freshman last year playing a mans position.

I have high hopes for Norton this year, kid showed flashes of brilliance on rare occasions last year. I'm hoping he can take that next step and start dominating the middle
